Great family fun! No outside drinks allowed, so no drinking. Life guards are everywhere. We went later in the day, so there wasn't a crowd. The kids love this place!
Fun place to let your kids cool off in the hot summers. Not very big though. Not many activities.
I had a lot of fun in the pool and on the slides. It has been a long time since I have been out to a water park and I can't wait to go back.
Guards would yell and blow their whistle at parents for holding their kids in the pool or having them on their backs. Would let anyone hold hands or be close to each other. Had the guard tell another guard to watch me and my significant other because we were holding hands and swimming (not being inappropriate at all, I understand there are children around.) It made me very uncomfortable and made me feel I was being watched the whole time which I was. I haven't gone back since.
This is a first community pool in the new albany area in almost 40 years. It is reasonably priced and there is quite alot of room to play. The features include: snack bar, lockers, lazy river, beach front pool entrance, 3 lanes with a depth of 6 ft for serious swimming, one body slide, two tube slides, and a "toilet plunge' type slide. The staff is friendly and helpful. Don't bring food or drink in your bag or you will have to return it to the car. There also is no smoking allowed within 15 feet from the entrance. Parking can be a headache. They have not yet opened a overflow parking lot and the main one fills up rather quick on a summer day. My suggestion is that if you are going then plan on arriving about 15-20 minutes before the gates open to ensure parking and a beach/lounge chair.
