The awesome nice lady in produce, went out of her way to be nice!! She found my caramel apples with sprinkles on them!! She was amazing!!
A fine location as far as groceries though but I rate it low for one time we were there and a dog was locked in a car on a 100 plus degree day. We talked to a cart handler to try and page the owner instead of calling the cops but the cart handler came back and said his boss didn't want him involved.
Busy day at Kroger on Charlestown Rd in New Albany! I had to drive around a few times to find a parking spot! Anyway, I got everything on my list, and the Kroger employees and customers were all so friendly! I enjoyed shopping here.
I used to go to Kroger on Charlestown Road exclusively. Went today and did get my items though it seems that since they move to the location out vloser to Blackiston Mill Rd. They just are not the same. Shelves are always partially empty, employees are wielding the big carts through isles to fill the call in shoppers requests and just makes it tough to find what you are looking for. The employees are friendly and asked several times if ii found what I was looking for. But the experience is not pleasant. However, parking is a lot better at this one as compared to the mega store on State Street. That parking lot is the pits!!!!
It's small but convenient if you want to get in and out quickly. The staff are a wonderful bunch of people. My only complaint is the limited stock but it's not a huge deal. I can drive across town to the mega Kroger if really need something this store doesn't carry.
