After two days of trying to reach someone and leaving half a dozen voicemails for 3 different people who were capable of helping me, I finally received a call back from Sarah. To save the Google world from an even longer story, they obviously refused to take ownership of their accident. I tried to come to a compromise of just replacing the windshield (not replacing the window tint or repairing the dent and missing paint on the metal) and instead of being courteous and simply responding with a yes or no, I was completely ignored.
Terrible company and a disgrace to the Southern IN area. Customer service is awful. Stay away from this company.
If you need to get in contact with anyone at Mac, good luck. Phones go unanswered, voicemail boxes are full and emails are ignored. The only one who was decent was Sarah K. My vehicle was struck by a tool falling off of a mechanics truck on the highway, cracking my windshield and damaging the metal strip along the window. I recorded all the information I could and tried to flag the driver down. When that didn't work, I called the police. He did all he could and found contact information for me so I could get in touch with Mac's "emergency personnel." Well good thing it wasn't an actual emergency because no one answers that number and the mail box was of course full. That phone number belongs to Neal by the way.
I can't speak in regards to this company's construction but I can share my experience with their safety team and customer service.
I didn't care if they repaired my windshield or not, but the way this situation was handled was laughable and something that I would expect from some half-assed backyard LLC, not a company as established as Mac. So when the managers of this company read this and laugh it off as just an isolated incident, I hope you'll at least try and handle this differently when it happens again, because it will. Having loose items on a truck is idiotic. The tool that hit my vehicle wasn't the only thing that was hopping around on the back of that truck and as long as that is the standard your company is held to, you'll continue to build a bad reputation.
...But I guarantee I hear something back about this review quicker than I did from your safety team.
