A little pricey, but kids eat free Tuesday and free dessert on Monday. Food is "ok" at best. My one pound pulled pork sandwich was so dry I could barely chock it down. My wife got the chicken fingers which were just sad. My sides were good though.
Mark's has great food and the service is very friendly. The cozy atmosphere and down home tastes make it one of my favorite places.
I understand people working for your company make mistakes...... but when they start to steal from your customers it's time to do a little something extra to keep our business. I know we won't be back, and I'm sure there will be several others. Keep up the stealing practices and I'm sure there will be more.
There's good potential here but they generally fall short of delivering hot food. The fries are usually slightly under cooked and obviously cooling down. The BBQ is tasty but also cooling down. Once I mentioned this to a manager and a thermometer was brought out with a response that the holding bins meet temp requirements. Still, we eat here b/c there usually isn't a long wait for a table during prime time after church. That sentence alone is probably enough of a review. A side note. Once we ate there and a blonde lady manager - had not seen her before - was running the store. That particular day they were knocking out home runs on every pitch. They can deliver food hotter than the legal minimum temp.
Guy added an extra $5 to their bill, manager said it was an honest mistake.... lol, I would understand this if someone else at their table left a $5 tip and they got the tickets mixed up, but they were eating alone.
Probably a good place to eat if paying cash. But be careful if paying with a credit card. My mom was in here last night, paid with a debit card and left cash tip. Well, let's just say the server decided to STEAL from them and add a little extra on debit card. Upon returning to the store today, all the manager did was return the stolen tip money. Comical to think that they were put out, had to made a drive back over there, and all they get is their money back that was stolen from them.
Its always a consistant place to dine. Excellent food and personable service. Its nice to see employees happy which in turn provides good quality of everything. Speaks good of management
